Tiel Lambrie

“We can talk about this later.” She watched the worried youth. “As far as I know, there is no huge rift in the floor that can devour us. Therefore, I choose to go on with life as normal. Let all the hysterical idiots sort themselves out.” She put her hand on Jainu’s hand. “Let’s enjoy life. If it happens, we will take care of ourselves the best we can. Okay?”
Jainu studied her and then smiled. “I like that. It’s more positive.”

Tiel's History

The first thing that Tiel Lambrie remembers is how she met her adoptive parents. The past before meeting them is a blur that asserts itself in her worst nightmares. She was a slave to a renegade called the Master Merchant, and two Colonels of the Peace Enforcers Badoe Brigade found her while investigating the village where she was kept. They rescued her along with a fire-breathing white panther and soon adopted her.

It soon became apparent that Tiel had been experimented on and now has attached to her skeletal frame a substance called bio metal. While she is stronger, the metal has been infused into her bones and muscles, giving her greater speed. The Colonels, Emiline and Emery Drakner, also discovered that Tiel had a biochip in her brain that allowed other voices from an unknown source to invade her thoughts.

Soon, it became clear that she was a telepath and that the voices caused much harm to Tiel's sanity. One soothing factor was that the fire-breathing panther they rescued bonded with Tiel and would sleep on the bed with her. Tiel named him Maestro because his purring was a beautiful song.

It was at this time that the Drakners decided to distance themselves from the Peace Enforcers and head into the Watosh. They lived in a hut next to Emery's brother, Dawg Lambrie. There, they found that the electrical field of the forest blocked the foreign voices and disrupted the effects of the bio-metal on her weak body.

Tiel grew to love Emery's brother Dawg Lambrie, who was a leader of the Hunter Clan.  In her early teens, she started training with him, and eventually he became her official mentor. Tiel flourished in the Hunter Clan and learned quickly. She rose through the ranks faster than any other Hunter and by the age of seventeen was considered a full-fledged Hunter.

She works with the Peace Enforcers from time to time under a General who is friends with the Drakners. She is courageous and always looks for other kidnapped children being used as slaves. However, she is also overly judgmental and has little patience for those she considers to be foolish. She has to be careful, as the voices in her head cause her to react in harmful ways at times. So far, she has been able to keep the voices a secret from the Hunter Clan.

When she met Aven de Menzaile, she found that being close in proximity to him made the voices disappear as if she were in the Watosh Forest. This piqued her interest in him, and soon they took the stellove vows. However, Tiel worries that the only reason they are married is for some relief from the voices. It scares her that their relationship could be fake.
